Where Did Ebola Virus Come From?


One study sites that eating a lot of meat is associated with 27 percent increase in death from heart disease and 20 percent increase in death from cancer (Link). Yet avoiding meat can also help protect humans from the viruses found in animals. According to this video, the deadly Ebola virus came from human contact with animals. Some of the viruses that have been transmitted from animals to humans include SARS, Foot and Mouth Disease Virus (FMDV), Avian Influenza and many others (Link).
