Intuitive eating involves listening more and more to your body and allowing flexibility in your diet and daily life. In a world of food police, diet gurus and celebrity cookbooks, it can be easy to fall into a set of rules that aren't necessarily designed for everyone at all times.
Does this mean I shouldn't have goals?
No. Goals are great, but militant rules can be negative. Imagine a dartboard with a bulls-eye in the middle. It's good to aim for the bull-eye, but also giving yourself some grace if you don't hit it every time.
