Simple Things Most People Can Do Every Day to Improve Health

These are more flexible suggestions instead of concrete rules. However, most people will see health improvements if they follow the below simple guidelines.

1) Eat a green smoothie or oatmeal for breakfast daily. - A green smoothie or oatmeal with fruit  for breakfast every day can help us get started on the right foot. This is setting a great pace for the rest of the day, and ensures that at least one meal is healthy.

2) Incorporate a salad daily. If your stomach can't handle raw foods very well, a stir fry is a good substitute to a salad or smoothie. However, raw foods tend to be loaded with enzymes, which is why eating some raw foods daily is beneficial for most people.

3) Eat raw garlic before bed. - Raw garlic has tons of health benefits including cancer prevention, improved blood pressure, antibacterial, anti-parasitic, etc. Eating 1 or 2 raw cloves of garlic daily is almost guaranteed to help improve your health in some way. Eating these cloves before bed helps keep the garlic smell away during daytime hours.

4) Drink green tea. Green tea helps prevent many types of cancer as well as high blood pressure.

5) Don't eat right before bed. Intermittent Fasting. - A typical  16/8 intermittent fasting schedule means you're fasting every day for 16 hours and eating during the remaining 8 hours. A common eating block is noon until 8 pm or even 2 pm until 10 pm, for example. However, it's important to finish eating about 3 hours before bed, instead of going to sleep with a lot of food to digest.

6) Eat carrots. Carrots are loaded with beta carotene and they are helpful at cancer prevention and parasite cleansing as well.

7) Cut back on the processed foods. Foods such as pop, candy, chips, deep fried foods, etc. can be cut out for improved health benefits.

8) Cut back on alcohol to one drink per night, once or twice a week. Removing alcohol from your life entirely has even more benefits.

Practical, Easy Steps to a Healthier Life

1) Start every day with a green smoothie (fruit plus greens plus water, blended).
2) When shopping for groceries, try to avoid the middle isles that include boxed and processed foods. Focus instead on whole foods such as produce and proteins, which are usually located around the edge of the store.
3) Cut out soda (as well as diet soda) and other sugary drinks from your diet. If you are going out to eat, spend the money you usually would spend on soda on a side salad instead.
4) Try cutting back on the processed sugars found in cake, cookies, donuts, brownies, pastries, etc. Instead try to incorporate more fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet on a daily basis.
5) Avoid fake sugars such as aspartame, as they are even less healthy than regular sugar! Focus instead on natural sugar found in fresh fruits.
